FUR & ALL
In 2004, a young man started drawing a comic strip. Being in high school, he had a lot to learn. Setting aside the fear of rejection, he walked into the office of the local newspaper and asked if his pencil scratches might be published. The editor (always one to give a young person an opportunity to express themself and because young man's work was better than anything the editor could do), agreed.
For the next three years, Nathan Gregory produced a weekly comic strip for the Courier News. Sometimes readers understood his jokes, sometimes they didn’t. A lot of things have happened since Fur & All was last published in 2007. Nathan went off to the Seattle Art Institute, worked at Amazon doing graphic design, and is now the Senior Environment Artist at Probably Monsters.
